ETA - Active Route

This sub-panel is available if you are using an active route. To open this sub-panel,
click the down arrow in the top right corner of the ETA panel.

NOTE:

Activating a route clears the miles so you must reset them.

Fields in this sub-panel include:

Average Speed

Use Vessel SOG. Select to use your boat’s speed over ground (SOG) when
determining the distance and time to the ETA.
Specify SOG. Type a speed over ground (SOG) that will be used when
determining the time and distance to the ETA regardless of your boat’s
current SOG.

NOTE:

The selection you make under Average Speed applies to both ETAs.

User ETA Selection:

User ETA#. Select User ETA #1 through User ETA #5, if available, to set the
position in the NavInfo panel for the ending point you specify under Select a
Waypoint
.
Select a Waypoint. Select a waypoint from the drop-down menu. The
distance and time to arrival will be calculated for this waypoint and will be
assigned to the ETA currently selected. Keep the following notes in mind:

User ETA #1 is always set to Active Point.
User ETA #2, 3, and 4 always use Auto Advance by default. You can
select another value, such as end point or another point.
User ETA #5 is set to End Point by default but you can select another
value.

NOTE:

If you deactivate a route, the selected waypoints will be cleared and you

must complete the setup process again after you reactivate that route.
