Changing the Appearance of Objects

You can control how all objects appear on the chart. For example, you can change
the icon for all Marks and Waypoints, change the color, font, and text size of all text,
name individual waypoints and much more. The following are the most commonly
used appearance options.

Show / Hide Object Names

To display or hide a mark name:

Open the Properties panel for the object in the SysInfo window pane or Data
Manager
Place or remove a check-mark in the Show Nav Object check box ( the default
is checked).

Changing a Waypoint or Mark Icon

Each waypoint and mark has its own properties, such as the icon displayed. All
properties for an individual mark or waypoint can be edited.

Right-click on a mark or waypoint and select Properties from the Context Menu,
or open the Data Manager and locate the mark or waypoint you wish to edit
Select a new icon from the Icon list. As soon as the new icon is selected, the
mark or waypoint appearance updates.

Changing Line Color

Line colors of routes and boundaries can be edited and customized.

Click on a route or boundary on the chart, or open the Data Manager and locate
the route or boundary.
From the Line Color list of the Properties panel for that object, choose the Line
color you wish to use from the available list.

NOTE:

Closed Line Boundaries can be filled using the Fill feature on the

Properties panel of the SysInfo window pane.
