13 - Target Tracking

Target Types Supported

Jeppesen Workboat Navigator tracks two types of targets:

ARPA/MARPA targets transmitted from your Radar. See Chapter 12 - Radar
Management for ARPA/MARPA Target Tracking information.
AIS (Automatic Identification System) target tracking from a dedicated AIS
transceiver. AIS displays larger boats that have AIS transponder output.

Targets Panel

AIS and ARPA/MARPA targets are displayed in the Targets panel of the SysInfo
window pane. When your AIS or IR2-BB is connected to your computer and
configured properly, these targets also display on the Chart window pane.
