Depth

Depth from surface to sea floor, assuming a transducer offset (draft). Workboat
Navigator supports up to two sounders. If you have two sounders enabled through
two ports, the Nav Panel will display Depth Port and Depth Stbd.

GPS

This displays the state of the boat’s GPS, such as RTK, DPS, GPS, and No GPS.

HDG

Heading. HDG is the boat direction, which varies from COG due to winds, currents, etc.

Position (Lat/Lon)

Lat/Lon of the boat as determined by onboard sensors, such as the GPS.

Position (River Mark)

This field utilizes the Distance Marker supplemental data to tell you which river you
are navigating and at what Distance Marker. River mark data is rounded up or down
to the next whole number. Whenever the number has been rounded, an asterisk will
appear next to the displayed number.

NOTE:

Not all rivers have available Distance Marker data.

RNG to Cursor

The Range, or distance, from the boat (based on GPS antenna position) to the
cursor position on the chart.

RNG to Active WYPT

The Range, or distance, from the boat (based on GPS antenna position) to the
active Waypoint.

ROT

Rate of Turn. Port or Starboard, based on input from Heading or Rate of Turn
Sensors, when present. ROT can also be estimated based on changes in heading.

Slide Indicator

The Slide Indicator provides a visual representation of how much your boat is
moving off course from your current position and heading based on your speed
and direction. The calculated slide is of your bow and stern for both your boat and
tow configuration. The pivot point is the GPS location and the course over ground
(COG) and speed over ground (SOG) values that are applied to the length and
width of your entire tow configuration. The slide is determined in feet per minute.
If your boat is sliding to the port side, a red bar appears under the affected panel
(Bow or Stern) of the indicator. If your boat is sliding to the starboard side, a green
bar appears under the affected panel (Bow or Stern) of the indicator. The scale will
change as the slide rate increases or decreases. The maximum reading is 100.
