137 14 - Tides and Currents
Tides & Currents SysInfo Panel
This panel will display either Tides or Currents details in a corresponding sub-panel.
Toggle between Tides or Currents using the left-hand buttons.
To open the Tides & Currents SysInfo Panel, scroll through available panels using
the SysInfo arrow buttons or right-click on a tide or current icon on the chart and
select Properties from the pop-up menu.

Information available from this panel includes:
Show on Chart. Place a check-mark in this box to display Tides or Currents on
the chart window pane.
Closest to Boat. Place a check-mark in this box and Workboat Navigator will
automatically show information about the tidal or current station closest to your
boat.
Goto Tide/Current. Click this button to center the chart over the selected tidal or
current station.
Name field. Displays the name, proximity and other data for the selected tidal or
current station.
Prediction Date/Time. Displays system time/date, tidal or current data and
speed. The Time, Height, and Event fields populate with predictions for the next
few hours for this tide or current.
NOTE:
The time is based on your system’s local time. So, if the station is
in a different time zone, the time that appears will be the system time’s
equivalent. For example, if the time for the first event is 13:00 EDT, and
Workboat Navigator is running on PDT, the first event will be listed as 10:00
PDF.
