Route Context Menu
The Route Context Menu is accessed by right-clicking on a specific Route or by
left-clicking on the Route and then clicking the Context Menu button from the Main
Toolbar. The Context Menu allows you to view and edit specific features of the
Route. The following are all available options in the Route Context Menu:
Activate/Deactivate. Use this option to activate or deactivate the selected route.
An activated route is indicated by red route lines. Once a route is activated, the
first waypoint on the route will begin flashing on the Chart window pane and a
vector line indicating the most direct route to that waypoint will be drawn from
your boat to the waypoint.
Insert Waypoint. When you use this option with the right-click mouse button, a
waypoint is inserted on the route beneath your cursor, provided your cursor is
somewhere on the route line. When you highlight the entire route and click Insert
Waypoint, your mouse converts to “Waypoint Creation” mode. Each mouse-click
adds a waypoint to the route along the route path only. Subsequent waypoints
are renumbered. Click
L to exit Waypoint Creation mode.
Append Waypoint. Selecting this option converts your mouse to “Waypoint
Creation” mode. Each mouse-click adds a waypoint to the end of the route. Click
L to exit Waypoint Creation mode.
Split. This option splits the selected route from wherever your mouse focus is. Your
mouse cursor must be pointed at a point between two waypoints for Split to function.
Reverse. This option reverses the order of all waypoints in a route.
Delete. This menu option deletes the selected route from Nav Objects. This
action cannot be undone.
Properties
Opens the SysInfo window pane, Properties panel for the selected route.
Lock. Locks the selected route into its current location on the Chart window
pane. Remove the check-mark from this check box to release Lock function.
Show. Removing the check-mark from this check box hides the route from
being displayed on the Chart window pane. Use the Data Manager to locate and
display the route again.
