To Use Existing Marks in a New Route

You can create a route from existing marks using the Route tool to connect the
marks and convert them into waypoints. To create a route from a series of existing
marks:

Create the marks on your chart.
Start a new Route (see Chapter 9 - Using Nav Objects - To Create A Route).
Click on an existing mark. A dialog will appear asking if you would like to place a
new mark, or use the existing mark. Click Yes to use the existing mark.
Repeat this step as desired, creating the Route as usual.

To Share Waypoints

This feature allows marks to be shared between multiple routes, which is useful
if you have several routes which end or begin in the same place. If you change
the name or position of a shared mark, it will be changed for all routes.
To share a
waypoint between routes:

Create the first Route (see Chapter 9 - Using Nav Objects - To Create A
Route
).
Begin creating a second Route.
When you get to the area that contains the mark to be shared, click on the
existing mark or waypoint from the first route.
When prompted, click Yes to use the existing mark.

To Reverse a Route

The first waypoint of a route is automatically numbered 001 and waypoints increase
in numerical order. To navigate a route in the opposite direction from which it was
created, you must first reverse the order of the waypoints. To reverse the order of a
route:

Right-click on any segment of the route between two waypoints - be sure to
right-click on the route, not the waypoint
.
Choose Reverse from the Route Context Menu. Waypoint numbers will reverse
order.
Direction arrows will reverse.

Existing marks that have been used in another route keep their names when
the route is reversed. Only waypoints with their original, automatically assigned
numbers will be renumbered.
