Importing and Exporting Nav Objects

You can import files that contain Nav Objects to serve as a quick and easy method
for updating your database. Likewise, you can export your Nav Objects to a file in
order to share or move your data to another location.

To Import Nav Objects

Open the Data Manager (System | Data Manager).
Under Data Collection, select Nav Objects from the drop-down list; then select
Import/Export from the window pane containing the Nav Objects.
Click the Import button at the bottom of the window pane. The Open dialog
appears.
Browse to the location, or folder, where the Nav Objects file is located; then
select it. The Open Dialog default folder is the one that was opened or C:\
JeppData if the import feature has not yet been used.
Click the Open button. The message Allow Duplicate Nav Objects appears.
Click the Yes, No, or Cancel buttons.

Yes. Imports duplicates exactly so they are stacked directly on top of each
other. The only check for duplicates is Name, Location, and object type.
No. Completely updates the existing nav object in the boat’s database with
the duplicate found in the file.
Cancel. Stops the import.
