The Tides & Currents Application
Tides & Currents is a separate program that feeds data to Jeppesen Workboat
Navigator. When you turn on tide and current icons, you see an on-chart
representation of real-time tidal and current predictions.
For more detailed tidal or current data, open the Tides & Currents application to see
graphs and other statistical information about any tide or current data over a 24-
hour period. See the Tides & Currents User’s Guide for more detailed information.
To open the Tides & Currents Application:
Turn on Tide or Current display by placing focus on the chart and selecting
Context Menu | Layers | Tides or Currents or by right-clicking on the chart and
selecting Layers | Tides or Currents from the pop-up menu.
Click on any displayed tide or current station for which you would like to view
a graph or other detailed information. This will open the SysInfo | Tides and
Currents panel.
Click Open T&C.
The Tides & Currents program will open (see Figure 14.3) and you should see
a graph that covers a 24-hour period for the tidal or current station you selected.
This graph will contain several important pieces of information.
