Past Tracks

There are two kinds of Past Tracks:

Temporary (dashed)—Created in the Past Track panel with a query. The
temporary Past Tracks stay on the chart as long as you do not create a new
query or restart the program. You cannot share or customize temporary Past
Tracks.
Permanent (solid)—Created in the Past Track panel when you Save a Past
Track. You can name, hide and show, and get Tool Tips for permanent Past
Tracks.

The Past Track button located in the SysInfo Boat History panel gives you the
ability to display one of your boat’s past tracks by selecting a start and end time
in a playback file. The track appears as a blue, dashed line on the chart after you
select the start and end times. The tracks use your boat’s history file and recorded
GPS signals. If this data contains gaps, the past track reflects them. If you decide
to convert a past track that contains gaps into a route, Workboat Navigator will ask
you to decide for each gap to either close it or create an individual route for it.
