is drawn from the previous waypoint to the cursor, and range / bearing text is
displayed next to the cursor.
Click the left mouse button on the next position.
Continue clicking the left mouse button until the route is completed.
Double-click or right-click on the last waypoint location or press

L

to end the

Route
Enter a route name or accept the default name (date route was created).

Chart Scrolling During Route Creation

The chart will scroll if a route or boundary border extends beyond the chart
window pane. An adjacent chart will open as needed. This creates routes without
interruption. Use the

+

and

-

keys to zoom in or out on the Chart window pane

when creating a Route or Boundary.

To Activate a Route

You can create an unlimited number of routes, but only one route can be active at a
time. An active route displays as bright red (by default), and has a special priority in
the navigation system. When a route is activated, the first waypoint also becomes
active and blinks on the screen.
When your boat comes within a preset distance (called the Arrival Radius) from the
active waypoint, the next waypoint will activate.
To activate a route:

Right-click on any segment of the route between two waypoints.
Click Activate from the Route Context Menu. The route will turn

red

and the first

waypoint will be activated.

TIP:

Deactivate by selecting Deactivate from the Route Context Menu or by

activating another route.
