Place Name Search Panel

This panel contains a search engine to help you locate places and points of
interest quickly and easily. There are three sub-panels on this panel:

Name. This is the name of a River or any chart feature embedded in the vector
chart. In this sub-panel, input the name or partial name of the river or chart
feature you are searching for and specify a range (5, 10, 100 or 1000 units of
measurement) from your boat to search.
River Mile. In this sub-panel, select a River from the drop-down list and then
search for a River Mile mark on the selected River.
Lat/Lon. Use this sub-panel to perform a specific search by exact Lat/Lon
location or partial Lat/Lon to search all points along a specific meridian.

Return values are all charts that contain the value you searched for. The chart
name may not match Name search criteria because the search will also return chart
object properties that match the search criteria. Matches are added to the list as
they are found.
You can center the Chart window pane on any of the returned charts and locations
on the list by highlighting one of the charts in the return value list and clicking Goto.
