Chart Window Pane Controls
Window Focus
When a window (Chart, Radar, etc.) is active it will appear with with a yellow border
around it.
REMEMBER:
You must click in the Chart window pane to make it active so you
can perform any chart navigation commands.
Chart Centering
Double-click your mouse while pointing at a location on the chart to center chart
focus at that position.
Arrow Keys
Use the keyboard arrow keys to pan the Chart window pane.
NOTE:
If your keyboard has combined number pad/arrow keys, make sure that
Q is off.
Goto Boat
This button is located in the Workboat Navigator main toolbar at the bottom of the
window pane(s). Goto Boat quickly centers the chart view on the boat position.
After you click Goto Boat:
The zoom level remains constant.
The autoscroll mode is Look Ahead.
The orientation for the chart is Head Up.
Scrolling/Panning
Use the following methods to pan (scroll) across the screen in any direction:
Use the arrow keys on the keyboard.
With the cursor at the edge of the chart, you should see a black arrow next to
your cursor. Click and hold the left mouse button and move the black cursor
towards the center of the screen to slow scroll speed.
