Fields in this sub-panel include:

Average Speed

Use Vessel SOG. Select to use your boat’s speed over ground (SOG) when
determining the distance and time to the ETA.
Specify SOG. Type a speed over ground (SOG) that will be used when
determining the time and distance to the ETA regardless of your boat’s
current SOG.
Clear All User ETAs. Click this button to reset both of the User ETA
selections to no values. The Select Ending River Name value resets to the
river on which you are currently located.

NOTE:

The selection you make under Average Speed applies to both ETAs.

User ETA Selection:

User ETA#. Select User ETA #1 or User ETA#2 to set the position in the
NavInfo panel for the ending point you specify under Select Ending River
Mile
.
Show Route. Click this button to display all of the river abbreviations
between your current river location and the selected ending river. If you have
selected an ending river that is not connected to your boat’s current river
location, an error message appears.
Select Ending River Name. Select the river name that contains the ending
point for your voyage. The selection default is the river on which you are
currently located. The rivers appear in the list alphabetically. If the river you
select is not connected to the river you are currently on, an error message
appears. The distance and time to arrival will be calculated for this endpoint
and will be assigned to the ETA currently selected.
Select Ending River Mile. Type the river mile mark to be used as the
endpoint for this ETA number. The valid range appears below this box.

NOTES:

Workboat Navigator always calculates the shortest path to the selected

point. This is limited by those waterways for which we have mile marks. If
you take a different route than the one displayed by Workboat Navigator, the
system will recalculate a new, shortest route.
Activating a route clears the miles so you must reset them.
Workboat Navigator continuously monitors the boat’s distance from the
calculated path to the selected river mile to determine if the point can be
reached. To prevent jumping in the ETA values under normal river conditions,
the system waits until the boat moves more than 1/10th of a statue mile off
the path before recalculating the path and if not reachable changing ETA
values to N/A.
If you type an invalid river mile mark, an error message appears when you
click Show Route.
