:OUTPut:OVP[:STATe]

Syntax

:OUTPut:OVP[:STATe] [CH1|CH2|CH3,]{ON|OFF}
:OUTPut:OVP[:STATe]? [CH1|CH2|CH3]

Description

Enable or disable the overvoltage protection (OVP) function of the specified

channel.
Query the status of the overvoltage protection (OVP) function of the specified

channel.

Explanation

 When the overvoltage protection function is enabled, the output will turn off

automatically when the output voltage exceeds the overvoltage protection

value currently set (

:OUTPut:OVP:VALue

). You can send

the

:OUTPut:OVP:ALAR?

or

:OUTPut:OVP:QUES?

command to query whether

overvoltage protection occurred on the specified channel currently.

 When [CH1|CH2|CH3] is omitted, the system performs the corresponding

operation on the current channel.

Return Format

The query returns ON or OFF.

:OUTP:OVP? CH1 /*Query the status of the overvoltage protection function
