Syntax

:OUTPut:TIMEr:STATe {P8V|P30V|N30V},{ON|OFF}

:OUTPut:TIMEr:STATe? {P8V|P30V|N30V}

Description

Turn on or off the timer output function of the specified channel.
Query the state of the timer output function of the specified channel.

Explanation

 Turning on the timer will change the output state of the channel; therefore,

make sure that the output state change will not affect the devices connected to

the power supply before turning on the timer.

 The timer output is valid when both the timer and the channel output are turned

on.

 You cannot modify the timer parameters when the timer is turned on.

 For multi-channel models, you can send

the

:INSTrument[:SELEct]

,

:INSTrument[:SELect]

or

:INSTrument:NSELect

command to switch the current channel as well as set the timer parameters of

the channel selected and turn on or off the timer.

 The timer and delayer (

:DELAY[:STATe]

) canot be turned on at the same time.

 You can also send the

:TIMEr[:STATe]

command to turn on or off the timer

output function.

Return Format

The query returns ON or OFF.

:OUTP:TIME:STAT? P8V /*Query the state of the timer output function of CH1

and the query returns ON*/
