Port Field

Use the

Port

field to select which port to configure.

Device Name Field

Use the

Device Name

field to enter the name of an OMNEO device to which this port attempts

to connect.

IP Address Field

The

IP Address

field displays the IP address of the device specified in the Device Name field.

Device Type Field

Use the

Device Type

field to select the type of device to which this port attempts to connect.

Rx Latency Selection Field

Use the

Rx Latency

selection field to set the latency threshold of the receive audio. This

setting determines the delay between when a device transmits audio to when that audio is
received on the connected device. It is sometimes necessary to use a higher latency setting in
large networks to avoid brief audio disruptions.
Available options for this field are: 1 ms, 2 ms, 5 ms, 10 ms, 15 ms, and 20 ms.
The default value for this field is 2 ms.

Channel Field

Use the

Channel

field to select the channel on the partner device to which this port attempts

to connect.

Description Field

The

Description

field displays the description of the port.
