There are four configuration options for this screen.
Assignment Description
Talker The party line membership assignment is always talking.
Listener The party line membership assignment is always listening.
Both The party line membership assignment is always talking and listening.
None The party line membership assignment is cleared from the key.

To configure a party line membership using the permanent talker/listener view , do the
following:
1.
Navigate to the Party Line Membership menu item .
2. Press SEL .
The Party Line Membership matrix grid displays.
3. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the desired port and party line .
4. Press SEL .
The Talker/Listener View appears.
5. Use the arrow keys to select Talker , Listener , or Both .
6. Press SEL .
The assignment is made and the Party Line Membership matrix grid appears with the
configured party line membership.
To clear a party line membership from the talker/listener view , do the following:
1. Navigate to the Party Line Membership menu item .
2. Press SEL .
The Party Line Membership matrix grid displays with the assignment configured.
3. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the desired port and party line .
4. Press SEL .
The Talker/Listener View appears.
5. Use the arrow keys to select None .
6. Press SEL .
The assignment is removed and the Party Line Membership matrix grid screen appears
with the membership removed.
