Listen Field
Use the Listen field to select the listen source port. The listen source is what a keypanel
operator would hear when they listen to an IFB (if the listen assignment is an AT, Auto-Table).
Use the talent’s pre-fade mic as the listen source so the keypanel operator can always hear the
talent.
Scroll Enable Check Box
The Scroll Enable check box determines whether the current IFB is visible in the local scroll
list.
Latch Disable Check Box
The Latch Disable check box determines whether the IFB, when assigned to a key, causes the
key to become latch disabled. Clear the check box to override the latch disable for the key.
Dim Field
Use the Dim field to select how much the program input dims when an interruption occurs on
the IFB port.
The range for this field is -1.0 dB to -80dB, and Mute.
The default for this field is Mute.
To
configure an IFB , do the following:
1. Navigate to the IFB field .
2. Click the ENC2 encoder knob .
The field becomes active.
3. Select the desired IFB .
4. Click the ENC2 encoder knob to confirm .
5. Navigate to the Scroll Enable check box .
6. Click the ENC2 encoder knob to enable or disable scroll enable .
7. Navigate to the Input field .
8. Click the ENC2 encoder knob .
The field becomes active.
9. Select the desired input port .
10. Click the ENC2 encoder knob to confirm .
11. Navigate to the Latch Disable check box .
12. (Optional) Click the ENC2 encoder knob to enable or disable latch disable .
13. Navigate to the Output field .
14. Click the ENC2 encoder knob .
The field becomes active.
15. Select the desired output port .
16. Click the ENC2 encoder knob to confirm .
17. Navigate to the Listen field .
18. Click the ENC2 encoder knob .
The field becomes active.
19. Select the desired listen port .
20. Click the ENC2 encoder knob to confirm .
21. Navigate to the DIM field .
22. Click the ENC2 encoder knob .
The field becomes active.
23. Select the DIM amount .
24. Click the ENC2 encoder knob to confirm the selection .
25. Click the ENC1 encoder knob to exit the screen .
A Changes Made message appears.
26. Navigate to the desired action .
