Band Gains 1 through 5 Field

Use the

Band Gains

fields to adjust the gain for the selected frequency band.

Available selections for this field: -6.0 dB to 0.0 dB.

Low Frequency Field

Use the

Low Frequency

field to set the low point of the frequency band.

Available selections for this field: 50.0 Hz, 31.3 Hz, or 15.6 Hz.

High Frequency Field

Use the

High Frequency

field to set the high point of the frequency band.

Available selections for this field: 20.0 kHz, 15.9 kHz, or 12.6 kHz.

Headset mic

The

Headset Mic

option allows the user to configure where audio is coming from and the type

of microphone used.
By default, if no headset is detected, the headset mic input is muted to avoid unwanted noise
to the system.

Enabled Check Box

The

Enabled

check box determines whether users are able to modify presets, frequencies, and

gain settings.

Presets Field

Use the

Presets

field to select one of five equalization settings. Equalizations are predefined

settings that modify the frequency envelope of an audio channel. This device has a 5-band
equalizer. Each preset provides a different EQ to apply to the audio. When presets are used,
band gains do not need to be set individually.
Available selections for this field are:

Default

0 dB (15 Hz to 20 kHz)

Hiss Reduction

0 dB (15 Hz to 2 kHz)
-6 dB (2 kHz to 12.6 kHz)

Rumble Reduction

0 dB (50 Hz to 20 kHz)

Noise Reduction

0 dB (50 Hz to 2 kHz)
-6 dB (2 kHz to 8 kHz)
-80 dB (8 kHz to 12.6 kHz)
