Headset Mic / Speaker
Use the
Headset Mic / Speaker
screen to configure how the headset microphone and speaker
operates

Microphone Section
The microphone section configures where the audio is coming from and the type of
microphone used.
By default, if a headset is not detected, the headset mic input mutes to avoid noise getting to
the system.
Auto-Mute Check Box
The
Auto-Mute
check box determines whether the mic input automatically mutes when a
headset mic is not detected.
Mode Field
Use the
Mode
field to select the state of the headset mic.
Available options are:
Disabled
Enabled
Switched (default) When set to Switched, the Mic Sel key controls the state of the headset
mic.
