Description

Solution
Check if:

Lost contact with keypanel
<port alpha> (port <port
number>)

Lost contact with
keypanel

The device powered off.

The device was physically
removed from network (e.g.
bad cable, loose connection,
cable accidentally removed)
or the network configuration
is no longer in the same
network subnet as OMS.

Control Port Ethernet link
down

For each Ethernet
connector, a separate
alarm stating that the
link went down (e.g.
cable accidentally
unplugged).

There is a bad cable

There is a loose/intermittent
cable connection

The switch or some other
device in the network
powered-off.

OMNEO RJ45 Link A Ethernet
link down

A redundant OMNEO
network link went
down.

There is a bad cable

There is a loose/intermittent
cable connection.

The switch or some other
device in the network
powered-off.

Excessive power-ups for
keypanel <port alpha> (port
<port number>)

A keypanel has
disconnected/
reconnected at an
unusual rate.

Power-cycle the device and/or
OMS.

Check for bad cabling.

OMNEO audio link failed for
<port alpha> (port <port
number>)

An OMNEO or RVON
audio link went down.

The device powered off.

The device was physically
removed from network (e.g.
bad cable, loose connection,
cable accidentally removed)
or the network configuration
is no longer in the same
network subnet as OMS.

Keypanel <port alpha> (port
<port number>) is babbling

A keypanel is pressing
keys at an unusual rate.

Power cycle the device.

Excessive communication
errors for <port alpha> (port
<port number>)

Excessive
communication errors in
the keypanel data link.

Power cycle the device and/or
OMS.

Check for bad cabling.
