A routine which runs periodically checks whether the free memory in the file
systems in which the snapshots are saved has fallen below the specified value. If
this is the case, the oldest snapshots are deleted: either until enough free memory
is available again in the file system or until only the number of snapshots defined in
the field “Minimum number of snapshots, which shall be kept” (see below) are
present.

A “Free space threshold” value of 0 is ignored.

Minimum number of snapshots, which shall be kept:

This field is used to define the minimum number of snapshots which are to be retained
when the periodic check of the memory space detects that the percentage has fallen
below the threshold value specified for free memory in the field “Free space threshold”
and snapshots are therefore deleted.
