Controller interface
Communication with the higher−order controller (PLC/IPC)
occurs via the controller interface.
There is a 9−pin sub−D socket on the SFC−LACI terminal for
connecting it to the field bus. This connection is used for the
incoming and continuing field bus cables.
Note
Only the field bus plugs type FBS−SUB−9−GS−DP−B or
FBA−2−M12−5POL−RK from Festo comply with IP54.
Note the instructions in section 3.7.4 if other Sub−D plugs
are used.
