Nth Edge Trigger (Option)

Trigger on the nth edge that appears after the specified idle time. For example, in the

waveform shown in the figure below, the instrument should trigger on the second

rising edge after the specified idle time (the time between two neighbouring rising

edges) and the idle time should be set to P<Idle Time<M. Wherein, M is the time

between the first rising edge and its previous rising edge and P is the maximum time

between the rising edges participate in the counting.

Trigger Type:

Press Type to open the trigger type list. Rotate

to select "Nth" and press down

. At this point, the trigger setting information is displayed at the upper right corner

of the screen.
For example,

. The trigger type is Nth edge trigger; the trigger

source is CH1; the trigger level is 0.00 V.

Source Selection:

Press Source to open the signal source list and select CH1-CH4 or D0-D15. For the

details, please refer to the introduction in "

Trigger Source". The current trigger

source is displayed at the upper right corner of the screen.

Note:

Select channel with signal input as trigger source to obtain stable trigger.

Edge Type:

Press Slope to select the kind of edge of the input signal on which the oscilloscope

triggers.

: trigger on the rising edge of the input signal when the voltage level meets

the specified trigger level.

: trigger on the falling edge of the input signal when the voltage level meets

the specified trigger level.
