Use the [VALUE] knob to select the Media containing the
“.bin” update files. Select “USB Flash Drive” or “Internal
Memory.”
NOTE: “USB Flash Drive” cannot be selected if no USB Flash Drive is
present at the [TO FLASH DRIVE] USB Port.
Th
e following messages will show if there are no update fi les on
the USB Flash Drive:
No Update File
...................... No “.bin” fi les in the \system\ Folder.
No New Update File
............. The “.bin” fi les are either identical to or
older than the ones already installed.
START THE UPDATE
Use the DIRECTION [
] button to move the cursor to the
[UPDATE] icon and press the [ENTER] button. You will see
a status bar similar to the one shown above during the Update
procedure. Each fi le being installed will display a separate
status bar.
FINISH
When the update is fi nished, the message shown below:
will display. Turn the power to the SK PRO “OFF.”
When the power to the SK PRO is next turned “ON,” the
updated software will take eff ect.

Locate the UPDATE FUNCTION Mode Page:

UPDATE
If you are using a USB Flash Drive to update the software of
your SK PRO, remove the Flash Drive from your computer
and insert it into the [TO FLASH DRIVE] port of the
SK PRO. The message, “Confirming USB...” will display
for approximately 1 second. Please wait for this message to
disappear.
NOTE: If you are using the Internal Memory to update the software
of the SK PRO, omit this step. Go to Step 2 in the next column.
Copy the “.bin” update fi les into the “system” sub-folder of the
USB Flash drive or the Internal Memory.

WARNING
If you are using the Internal Memory to update the
software of your SK PRO, do not attempt to re-name or
delete the folders in the Internal Memory, or format the
Internal Memory from the computer (see the illustration
above). Doing so may cause a malfunction.
