Command Format

Displays or changes the IP Gateway Telnet application
configurable parameters.

Lists the Telnet and terminal emulation configuration
parameters one by one. CR on input shows the next
parameter. Any other input resets (changes) the parameter.

Inactivity timeout (msec) = 300000

Max transmission delay (msec) = 300000

Terminal emulation break character (ascii) = 03

Inactivity timeout in msec – maximum activity timeout to
close the Telnet or terminal emulation session.

Max transmission delay in msec – maximum delay of
buffering.

Terminal emulation break character in ascii – the
character to break the terminal emulation.

connect

connect /s=<site id>
/l=<link id> /p=<port
id> {/m=<mux
port#>}

Connects to a device and performs remote terminal
emulation.

This form of connection may be accomplished from the
device level only.

Connects to a device specified by <site ID of EMU>, <link
ID of EMU>, <port ID of EMU>, <mux port # of device>
and performs terminal emulation to a device. The mux port #
is only specified when applicable.

This command may be useful when the name of the device is
not known or when there are multiple devices with the same
name within the site. This form of connection may be
activated at any level.

quit

Quits the Telnet session.
