14.2.5.24 1588 Command Register (1588_CMD)
This register is used to issue 1588 commands. Using the clock snapshot bit allows the host to properly
read the current IEEE 1588 clock values from the
1588 Clock High-DWORD Register
(1588_CLOCK_HI) and 1588 Clock Low-DWORD Register (1588_CLOCK_LO) . Refer to section
Section 11.3, "IEEE 1588 Clock," on page 159 for additional information.
