5.Remove the upper 44T spur gear from the cen-
ter jack shaft.
6.Remove the large flat washer and lower 44T
spur gear. See Figure 3-262.
7.Make certain the 16T input spur gear is shifted
to the reverse position. See Figure 3-263.
8.Rotate the hexed input shaft counterclockwise
and examine the reverse motion.
9.Remove the large thrust washer from the
wheel input sprocket assembly. See Figure 3-
264.
