NOTE

The hardware that is used to assemble this
section will be found in place on the frame
assembly and the tongue assembly. The
optional fender hardware will be found with the

1. Raise the reservoir and support it 8" above the

ground. See Figure 6-29.

2. Remove the plastic protective caps from both

wheel assemblies.

3. Remove the cotter pins, castle nuts and flat

washers from both axles using a pair of pliers.

4. Place a wheel assembly over each axle. See

Figure 6-30.

5. Place a flat washer over each axle.

6. By hand, secure both wheel assemblies with

the castle nuts removed earlier.

7. Snug the castle nuts down using a 1-1/8"

wrench, and then back the castle nuts off 1/3 of
a turn.

NOTE

DO NOT tighten the castle nut fully or damage
will occur to the bearings.

8. Secure the castle nuts in place with the cotter

pins removed earlier using a pair of pliers.

NOTE

The castle nuts can be rotated slightly to allow
the axle holes and castle nuts to align.

9.

Bend the ends of the cotter pins in both direc-
tions.

10. Grasp the wheel assemblies and make certain

they rotate freely.

NOTE

:

There should be no side to side play.

11. Place the hub caps in position and secure

them in place using a rubber mallet or a soft
hammer.

12. Check the tires to make certain they are at the

correct recommended pressure. See Figure 6-
31.
