4-5.14 Hose Attachment. Hose Attachment Kit part
number 290-005 is available as optional equip-
ment.
4-6. POWER VACUUM MODEl 660 (See Figure 4-
44.)
4-6.1 The Model 660 power vacuum has a 3.5 HP
engine, 9 position height adjustment, 25 inch
clearing width and six bushel capacity bag.
4-6.2Height Adjustment. An adjusting plate and
thumb lever at both front wheels provide height
adjustment for vacuum. Each adjusting plate
has nine positions. Height will be changed
when the thumb lever is moved from one posi-
tion to another. Simply depress thumb lever
towards wheel and move wheel and lever
assembly to desired position. Both wheels
must be placed in the same relative position.
Lower the front of the unit to obtain more suc-
tion. See Figure 4-45.
15-6.3 Under normal usage the bag is subject to wear
and should be checked periodically. Be sure
any replacement complies with the manufac-
turer’s recommendation. Wash bag periodi-
cally with water. Allow to dry thoroughly in the
shade. Do not use heat.
4-6.4 Attachments. The power vacuum Model 660
can be modified by incorporation of a hose
attachment kit, Model Number 290-210-000, or
a blower conversion kit, Model Number 290
211-000.
