6.2.4 Locks
Locking is a mechanism that prevents someone else from inadvertently changing the status of a
destination. Destinations may be locked either using what is called the "simple" method or the
"protect" method. A simple lock can be unlocked by any user provided they have the "Can Simple
Lock" or "Can Protect" privilege enabled in their user profile. A protect lock can only be unlocked by
the person who locked it or by an Administrator.
Lock status is indicated on a destination by one of two symbols. A padlock is shown for the simple
lock indication:
