Setting up Email
Services
The Toshiba Magnia SG20 Appliance Server has a built-in
mail server capable of sending and receiving email between
all the client computers and accounts on your local network,
as well as to and from the Internet. The Magnia SG20 can act
as the email gateway for your company’s connection to the
Internet.
NOTE: The Magnia SG20 comes with a built-in administrative
account, named “applianceadmin.” This account is not capable of
sending or receiving email.
Types of email services supported
The Magnia SG20 supports several different methods of
transmitting and receiving email. You should understand
these methods, and choose the one that is right for you.
