The deep bath, which can be identified by side

notches (see Fig.

64

), can be used in workstation

mode in combination with a silver/blue transfer

arm (

Fig. 45

) only. The transfer arm is in the

rear part of the TS5015 / TS5025 Transfer Sta-

tions. Before using the deep bath, please check

whether the silver/blue transfer arm is available.

Older instruments are equipped with a silver/sil-

ver transfer arm. The deep bath may not be used

in combination with this transfer arm!

• Specimen slide holders loaded man-

ually into the CV5030 must always be

removed immediately after process-

ing.

• The unloading chute (

Fig. 44

, 81) of

the transfer stations should be emp-

tied after the "TS FULL" message ap-

pears. At the latest, this should be

done after a signal tone that occurs

after the third specimen slide holder

and the "PAUSED" and "TS FULL"

messages.

• Ensure that the coverslip magazine

in the CV5030 is filled regularly.

This will prevent complete empty-

ing of the coverslip magazine, which

would cause the robotic coverslip-

per to stop working and go into

pause mode.

• Full output magazines must be re-

moved regularly, as otherwise con-

tinuous workstation operation is not

guaranteed.
