The Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio window
and the Connect to Server dialog box appear.
2. Select the computer that hosts SQL Server.
3. Type the login and password, and then click Connect.
4. Expand Database > <Your Restored Database> > Security >
Users.
5. Under Users, delete all the users that were originally created
for this database before the migration.
You will create them from scratch, because otherwise the
existing users may generate errors.
6. In the Object Explorer, expand the Security folder.
7. Right-click Logins, and then click New Login.
The Login - New dialog box appears.
8. In the Login name box, type a name for the database user.
IMPORTANT
Make sure that the database user name is the same as the user
name of the database that you have just restored.
9. Click SQL Server authentication.
10. In the Password box, type a password for the database user.
