The Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio window
and the Connect to Server dialog box appear.
2. Select the computer that hosts SQL Server.
3. Type the login and password, and then click Connect.
4. In the Object Explorer, right-click the server name, and then
select Properties.
The Server Properties dialog box appears.
5. Under Select a page, click Security.
6. Under Server authentication, check the selected server
authentication mode.
If the Windows authentication mode is selected, change it to
SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode.
7. Click OK.
The following message appears:

9. In the Object Explorer, right-click the server name, and then
select Restart.
The following message appears:
