7. Click Start > Run, type
regedit
, and then press Enter.
The Registry Editor appears.
8. Navigate to the following folder:
My
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\O
RACLE
9. Right-click the folder, and then click New > String Value.
In the right pane of the window, a New Value #1 appears,
available for editing.
10. Rename the value to
Oracle_Home
.
11. Double-click the value.
The Edit String dialog box appears.
12. In the Value data box, type:
c:\oracle\product\10.2.0\Client_1
13. Click OK.
The following sections describe how to configure RSSql v7.00.00
and later and FactoryTalk Transaction Manager v10.20 and later
connectivity to Microsoft SQL Server 2005 using Windows
authentication.
These steps apply regardless of whether Microsoft SQL Server is
configured with Windows-only authentication or with mixed mode
(SQL Server and Windows) authentication.
To configure the SQL Server authentication in FactoryTalk
Transaction Manager:
1. Open FactoryTalk Transaction Manager.
2. On the Configuration menu, click Checklist.
