3. To the Administrators group, add the same user that you

added in "Configuring the Windows-only authentication
(page 286)".

4. Go to Start > Administrative Tools > Local Security Policy.

The Local Security Settings dialog box appears.

5. Expand Security Settings > Local Policies > User Rights

Assignment.

6. In the right pane of the window, find and double-click Log on

as a service.
The Log on as a service Properties dialog box appears.

7. Add the same user that you added in "Configuring the

Windows-only authentication (page 286)".

8. In the Computer Management dialog box, expand Services

and Applications > Services.

9. In the right pane of the window, double-click FactoryTalk

Transaction Manager Configuration Server.
The Properties dialog box appears.

10. Click the Log on tab.
11. Click This account.
12. Select the same user that you added in "Configuring the

Windows-only authentication (page 286)".

13. Open FactoryTalk Transaction Manager.
14. On the Configuration menu, click Checklist.

The Configuration Checklist window appears.

15. In the Configuration List name, select the name of your

configuration.

16. Under Define Configuration, click Step 4.

The Data Object Definition dialog box appears.
