3. In the Configuration List name, select the name of your

configuration.

4. Under Define Configuration, click Step 4.

The Data Object Definition dialog box appears.

5. Next to the Database Connection box, click

.

The Database Connection Definition dialog box appears.

6. In the User Name box, type the name of the RSBizWare SQL

Server database user.

7. In the Password box, type the password for the RSBizWare

SQL Server database user.

8. Click Test.

A confirmation message appears.

9. Click OK, and then click Apply.

To configure the Windows-only authentication for FactoryTalk
Transaction Manager:

1. On the SQL Server computer, select Start > Programs >

Microsoft SQL Server 2005 > SQL Server Management
Studio
.
The Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio appears.

2. In the Object Explorer tree, expand Security.
3. Right-click Logins, and then click New Login.

The Login - New dialog box appears.

4. Next to the Login name box, click Search.

The Select User or Group dialog box appears.

5. Find the user that you want to add as the database user, and

then click OK.

6. In the Login - New dialog box, click OK.
