Appendix D Application notes for FactoryTalk Transaction Manager

• For the Int64 Signed data point types in a decimal format, the

range is between -9,223,372,036,854,775,807 and
9,223,372,036,854,775,807.

• For the Int64 Unsigned data point type in a decimal format,

the range is between 0 and 18,446,744,073,709,551,615.

There are the following limitations for a substitute value for a data
point:

• For a substitute value in hexadecimal and octal formats, the

maximum value is 2147483647.

• For a substitute value in a decimal format, the value has to fall

within a range between -9007199254740991 and
9007199254740991.

If you have a configuration created with a previous version of
FactoryTalk Transaction Manager with the MS SQL Server-specific

BigInt data type, and you have upgraded the system to FactoryTalk
Transaction Manager v10.20, perform the following action to
ensure that data is correctly written to the BigInt column:

• Go to the Step 4 in the Checklist, and click Apply to refresh

the data object.

FactoryTalk Transaction Manager remembers the sizes and

positions of most commonly used dialog boxes as specified by the
user.

To reset the sizes and positions of the dialog boxes:

1. Exit FactoryTalk Transaction Manager.
2. Click Start > Run, and then type

regedit

.

The Registry Editor appears.
