Installing RSBizWare Chapter 3
To configure the data source name (DSN) for ODBC:
1. On the Start screen, click Server Manager.
The Server Manager window appears.
2. On the Tools menu, click ODBC Data Source (32-bit).
The ODBC Data Source Administrator (32-bit) dialog box
appears.
3. Click the System DSN tab, and then click Add.
The Create New Data Source dialog box appears.
4. In the driver lists, select either of the following, depending on
the type of the driver for which you want to set up the data
source:
• SQL Server
• SQL Server Native Client 11.0
We recommend that you use the native client driver.
TIP
If you select the SQL Server driver, some of the wizard
pages may look different than those included in this
procedure. However, the steps are identical for both
drivers.
5. Click Finish.
The Create a New Data Source to SQL Server dialog box
appears.
