Migrating RSBizWare Chapter 4
The table provides the following information:
Item Description
Total The total number of activations installed on the computer
where the selected Security Services Manager is running.
The Security Services Manager checks all RSBizWare
activations out of the FactoryTalk Activation.
Available The number of unassigned activations on the computer
where the selected Security Services Manager is running.
Unassigned activations will not be returned to the
FactoryTalk Activation.
Assigned The number of activations that have been assigned to the
selected RSBizWare server.
Only assigned activations will be detected by the product
running on the selected server.
In the table, you may see the following types of activations:
Activation type Description
Metrics Server
Manager XX
Workcells A FactoryTalk Metrics server license for the specified
number of work cells.
You can assign more than one license. If you do, the number
of work cells will be summed.
FactoryTalk Historian
XXX Tag A FactoryTalk Historian Classic server license for the
specified number of tags.
You can assign more than one license. If you do, the number
of tags will be summed.
