Select this option, if you intend FactoryTalk Metrics to
communicate with your ControlLogix controller.
The FactoryTalk Metrics Configuration Tool, which uses
the FactoryTalk Metrics user-defined data type (UDT) to
establish the communication with ControlLogix
controllers, uses only the string values in the UDT to define
flex-fields.
For more information on FactoryTalk Metrics
Configuration Tool and the FactoryTalk Metrics
user-defined data type, refer to the FactoryTalk Metrics
User Guide, section "Automated Configuration".

If you select this option, you will also need to type True and
False display values.
In this example, we will select the Boolean State Value
option,
Test
for the Display Value for True option, and
Production
for the Display Value for False option.
7. Click OK.
Your summarization field appears in the list as Enabled. It is
now available for the Performance Parameters configuration.
