In this chapter you will learn about the following:

RSBizWare clients connect to RSBizWare servers over a TCP/IP
socket connection, using the IP address and the port number of the
RSBizWare server machine. To allow successful connections

between remote RSBizWare clients and RSBizWare servers,
network security must be configured to permit access to the server
ports.

If the Windows Firewall is enabled, network security configuration
will be performed for you. If you are running another firewall
system, you will need to manually open the following ports to allow
inbound and outbound traffic:
