Permission Description
Edit Report Object Security Allows the selected users or groups to grant security
permissions for the report object to other users or
groups.
Author licenses only.
View Report Object Allows the selected users or groups to view the
report object. The report object will be available for
use by the selected users or groups.
To grant permissions:
1. In the Service Console, expand the Information Services
Manager tree item, and then click Default Permission
Settings.
In the right pane of the window, a list of default permission
settings appears.
2. Select the object type for which you want to set the default
permissions, and then click Permissions.
The Default Object Security dialog box appears.
3. Click the Users tab.
4. Expand the tree item for the user for whom you want to assign
default permissions.
