3.1.13 Program management
3.1.13.7 Deleting a program (”DELETE”)
Using the ”DELETE” function you can either delete each program singly, or a sequence of
programs.
Operate the ”PART PROGRAM” and ”PROGRAM
HANDLING” softkeys, one after the other, in any of
the operating modes:
PRESET / JOG / AUTOMATIC /
INC 1...INC 10 000 / REFPOINT.
All programs from ”% 2” to ”% 5” inclusive, are now deleted by the control.
Deleting a sequence of programs
Using the keyboard, enter for example, ”% 2”,
operate the ”=” key, and enter for example
”% 5”.
Operate the ”DELETE” softkey.
Deleting an individual program:
Using the keyboard, enter the desired program
number ”%...” (or ”L...”), and operate the
”DELETE” softkey.
The program entered is deleted by the control.
Note:
The memory space cleared by deletion of the programs will become available again only
after ”REORG” (see Section 3.1.13.8).
