Extras – Reject to Manual

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Reject to Manual compound sends a logical Zero output when its digital input does a
low to high transition.

UTILIZATION

The MOD 30ML/MODCELL compound Reject to Manual uses an Ex (expression) and a
Supervisory message block.

Figure R .1.

Reject to Manual

There are 2 inputs to this compound. The SQUALLOGIC.S1 is a discrete input. Connect
any discrete signal to this input. On a LOW to HIGH transition, this input enables a ZERO
output from the compound at the TRIGGER.S2 signal.

For example a result quality can be connected to the S1 input as the trigger source and PID
block’s output mode status (OPMS) can be connected to the S2 input.

The output connection is actually reversed i.e. though flow of signal is from the
compound’s S2 signal to the PID block’s OPMS attribute, the physical connection should
be made from the OPMS attribute to the S2 signal.
