This will begin the selection process of a tag as described in the section entitled "Select a
Parameter/Variable". When you have completed the selection process, the selected tag will be
assigned to the meter (ie. Link Inductance). The name of the meter will have been changed to a
default string as shown in Figure 12 for meter 2.
The text consists of 8 characters. This text is displayed on the Top Level Menu along with the
value and units of the tag. Select the meter which you wish to modify via the [cursor up] and
[cursor down] keys. To modify the text, press the [cursor right] key. (If nothing happens then you
have not gained the required access to make changes. Press the [F8] key in order to gain access
and refer to the section entitled "Enter/Modify a Password (Access)". The first character position
of the string will be in reverse video as shown in Figure 13. Refer to the section entitled "Edit
Text". When editing is complete, the screen will appear as in Figure 14.
The terminal contains a default set of meters. This default set is selected by pressing the [F2] key
any time the 'Meters' screen is displayed. This results in the default text and tags as shown in
Figure 11.
