Standard I/O Checks

The drive is shipped with a number of input and output termination’s for auxiliary equipment to be attached to.
This will appear on the drive drawing shipped with the drive.

a.

All start and stop circuits should be verified.

b.

All configurable alarms circuits should be checked.

c.

All status indicators should be checked for operation.

d.

All speed inputs to the drive should be checked for accuracy and calibration.



Gating Checks

1.

Ensure each Digital Control board's green "HEALTHY" light is on. Also ensure the Communications
processor's "ACTIVE" light is on. If either of these conditions are not met call a Global Technical Services
representative for assistance.

From the main screen press the "SETUP" (F8) softkey. The
screen is displayed, press the "PARAMS" (F7) SOFTKEY. The
screen at the right will be displayed. Press the return key when
the "P Feature Select" menu item is highlighted.







Move the arrow keys until the "test mode" entry is highlighted,
and press enter.







Set the drive control parameter "Test mode" equal to 1, and
press enter. Press the exit (F10) softkey.







The drive display should show the "test mode" entry now set to
1 as the example at the right. Ensure that the drive status
shows a drive ready. Press the start button, the drive should go
into run mode and start gating. For more information refer to
the Operator Interface chapter.
