Application Setup
Once the drive has been tuned, it will be necessary to configure the drive for operation in its environment.
There are several parameters associated with the use of the drive for specific applications. See the Functional
description in Chapter 5 for more information involving setting of the acceleration and deceleration profiles and
other individual functions.
Saving Parameters
Save all parameters as entered into the drive E² memory. In case of a power failure parameters will be
reloaded from non-volatile memory.
To save the parameters entered, press "EEPROM" (F9) softkey from
the top level menu. The screen in the figure will be displayed. Press
the "SAVE" (F5) softkey.
From this screen, if you press the "YES" (F8) softkey you will
overwrite the EEPROM memory with the loaded parameters in
memory.
This screen shows a successful save. Press the "EXIT" (F10) softkey
to return to the top level main menu. For more information on this
subject, see the interface terminal section on save/retrieve of drive
parameters in Chapter 7.
